Along with South Beach, I aslo work out (when I find the time). I love South Beach. It is easy if you can make it past the first two carb-free weeks and I eat everything I want, I just eat better. I have bread and ice cream pretty much everyday and I have had no trouble maintaining my weight.
I have had people tell me that low carb diets aren't safe. No car diets are unsafe, this is about eating Good carbs like whole grains and natural sugars. If you are still worried, please pick up a copy of the book, written by a heart doctor.
While I am 6'1 and will probabaly nt be first on the list to play romantic leads, losing weight has certainly helped my career by making me more confident.
The last step I need to get the body I want is to tone up and that will only come from hitting the gym. My summer goal is to be in good shape. I will probably be giving little updates throughout my posts.
